Crew Cadence uses the Strava API to access club activity data and deliver weekly summaries to team group chats. Strava is the source of all activity data displayed in our reports.
Crew Cadence is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Strava, Inc. We are an independent third-party application that uses Strava's publicly available API in accordance with their API Agreement.
We pull club activity data to calculate total distance, elevation, and top performers for weekly recaps.
We access club metadata to display how many members are connected vs. total club size.
When members connect, we check their club list to auto-match them to registered teams.
All access requires explicit OAuth consent. Tokens are encrypted and can be revoked anytime.
We access: Club activity summaries (activity type, distance, elevation gain, athlete name), club metadata (member count, club name), and basic athlete profile information (name, athlete ID, club memberships).
We never access: GPS tracks, route data, maps, heart rate, power data, cadence, speed, photos, social interactions, private activities, or any data outside of club activity context.
You can revoke Crew Cadence's access to your Strava data at any time through your Strava settings → My Apps. Revoking access immediately stops us from accessing any of your Strava data.
All activity data displayed in Crew Cadence reports originates from Strava. For questions about your underlying activity data, refer to Strava's Privacy Policy.
