We store aggregated weekly stats only. No GPS data, no routes, no individual ride details. Auth tokens are encrypted. You can disconnect and delete your data anytime.
Crew Cadence is operated by Solid Spark Ventures LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), based in Utah, United States. Our product delivers automated weekly activity summaries to team group chats using data from Strava.
If you have questions about this policy, contact us at hello@crewcadence.com.
Account information. When a team admin signs up, we collect their email address and basic Strava profile information (name, Strava athlete ID, club memberships) provided through Strava OAuth.
Strava activity data. We access club activity data through the Strava API, including activity type (ride or run), distance, and elevation gain. We aggregate this into weekly totals and leaderboards. We do not store GPS tracks, route data, heart rate, power, or other detailed activity metrics.
GroupMe information. We store the GroupMe group ID, bot ID, and access token needed to post messages to your team's group chat. These are encrypted at rest.
Payment information. Payment is processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status. We never see or store your full credit card number.
We want to be explicit about what we never store:
No GPS data. No route maps. No individual activity details beyond what appears in the weekly summary. No heart rate, power, cadence, or speed data. No photos. No social interactions from Strava. No data from non-club activities.
Weekly reports. Your activity data is aggregated to produce the weekly recap message posted to your team's group chat. This is the core function of the product.
Service operation. We use account information to manage your subscription, authenticate API connections, and provide customer support.
No selling, no ads. We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with third parties except as necessary to operate the service (Strava API, GroupMe API, Stripe).
Data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, hosted in the United States (us-central1 region). OAuth tokens and API credentials are encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is limited to authorized personnel.
Raw Strava data. Raw activity data retrieved from the Strava API is cached for no longer than seven (7) days. After processing into aggregated weekly summaries, the raw API response data is deleted.
Active accounts. We retain your account data for as long as your account is active and your subscription is current.
Report history. Aggregated weekly reports — containing only summary statistics (total distance, total elevation, top 3 names and values) generated by Crew Cadence — are retained as part of your team's history. These are Crew Cadence's own generated summaries, not raw Strava API data.
Cancelled accounts. When you cancel your subscription, Strava OAuth tokens and any cached Strava data are immediately revoked and deleted. Team configuration, report history, and billing records are retained so you can reactivate at any time. You can request complete deletion of all remaining data by emailing hello@crewcadence.com.
Disconnect anytime. You can revoke Crew Cadence's access to your Strava account through your Strava settings at any time. This immediately stops us from accessing your activity data.
Data deletion. You can request complete deletion of your data by emailing hello@crewcadence.com. We'll process deletion requests within 7 business days.
Data export. You can request a copy of all data we store about you or your team.
Strava, Inc. may monitor and collect data related to Crew Cadence's use of the Strava API, including usage patterns and access frequency. Strava may use this data for any business purpose, including improving the Strava platform and ensuring compliance with their API agreement. For more information, see Strava's Privacy Policy.
